This would obviously be a bug.
what version of K95 are you using?
If it is not version 1.1.15, patches are available from
http://www.columbia.edu/kermit/k95patch.html
If you can reproduce the problem with the latest release then
please send a bug report to kermit-support@columbia.edu.
